As search engines have become more prominent, some affiliate marketers have shifted from sending e-mail spam to creating automatically generated web pages that often contain product data feeds provided by merchants. The goal of such web pages is to manipulate the relevancy or prominence of resources indexed by a search engine, also known as spamdexing. Each page can be targeted to a different niche market through the use of specific keywords, with the result being a skewed form of search engine optimization.
One of the main ways you can take advantage of this feature is by creating a channel trailer. A channel trailer is the video version of your description and is shown to all your unsubscribed viewers. Your trailer should be short and sweet (around 30 to 60 seconds). Focus on showing visitors what your channel is about, what they can expect to see, and encourage them to subscribe. Your trailer won’t be interrupted by ads, keeping the user focused on why they should watch more videos from your brand.
I dug into the data for two companies – Grainger and Proto Labs (I’m not affiliated with either). I used the Moz authority score (1-100), which suggests how well a website page will rank based on the number and quality of inbound links and related factors. Grainger’s domain authority was 79, while Proto Labs was 56 – respectable numbers for both.
We’re pretty satisfied with how MailChimp gets the job done minus without their prices being so steep. Do you know how MailChimp can be integrated with Autotask? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

A cookie is a technology that works with web browsers to store information like user preferences, login or registration information, and shopping cart contents. Have you ever opted-in to have a website “remember” your password and username for one of your online accounts? That’s a cookie. Ever notice while searching the web for “travel deals” and you suddenly start seeing travel display banners on other websites? Those ads are appearing for you because you’ve been cookied (it’s okay, you won’t get hurt).
A. As with everything I ever endorse, there is a 100% refund policy if you don’t find the value you were expecting. This is a popular course and a booming community, so you are likely to request a refund only if you find yourself not working the system.

Thank you Amy for this great information. I’ve been doing just the banners on my side bar, but now I think maybe doing the links would work better. I’m going to experiment. I’m only doing products that I’ve tried and can 100% approve of. I think bloggers who don’t stick to their morals are just slimy.

Glad you’re sticking with it. Build on what you know and enjoy learning. You don’t need to master everything (no one can). Focus on keywords, search volume. Choose words within reach for your existing pages. Or better yet, make new pages with longer content.
First things first, you can’t measure your success without determining your goal. If you’ve filmed, edited, uploaded, optimized, and shared your video and still don’t know what goal you’re trying to achieve, we have an issue. Your goal should drive your video strategy from beginning to end.
A common mistake in social media marketing is thinking a large number of followers is all you need. In fact, many businesses have sprouted up offering to sell you 100 or 1000 ‘real’ friends or fans. Keep in mind that friends and fans are not enough – you need to build engagement. Friends that are purchased are often not your target demographic or are fake accounts. Neither will help you accomplish your goals.
As a small business like us, you’re probably looking for an email marketing tool that allows you to build a list of potential leads/customers and engage them, without breaking the bank or being overly complicated.

“Karen and I have been selling on Amazon for the past four years and doing pretty well, but once I adopted the methods used in this course and moved my inventory to FBA our sales more than doubled and now equal our sales on eBay. A few weeks ago we went to Las Vegas for a trade show. In the past I would have to take down my eBay listings and suspend my Amazon listings since we would not be there to ship our goods. Now, I use FBA to fulfill both our eBay and Amazon sales. The little bit I pay in extra fees is made up by the savings in boxes and packing material and the discounted shipping rates I get from Amazon.” — Skip McGrath- mcgrrrrr on eBay and Summerdale_House on Amazon
Alright, you’ve put a lot of time and effort into your YouTube channel. You’ve created interesting content, optimized it for SEO, and shared it across different platforms … now it’s time to measure your success.
Before migrating our lists over to GetResponse, Mailchimp was our go-to tool for creating newsletters and autoresponders. Our decision to move away from Mailchimp was primarily due to them enforcing subscribers to double opt-in (which was reducing our list size by about 15%), and the fact that we could do virtually everything we needed in GetResponse for almost half the price.
Some people remember the 1990’s as a tremendous period of growth for grunge music and Jim Carrey films. While this is true, most people will probably tell you the 90’s were responsible for this big, beautiful, technology called the World Wide Web (aka the internet, the web, the vast digital ocean of information at our finger tips). And with any new technology or media, companies quickly realized they had a new opportunity to market their products and services to consumers via the millions of websites they visit every day.

Without trying too hard, larger enterprises can rank for many keywords because they’re credible in the eyes of search engines (the number of pages and backlinks help). Unfortunately, too many businesses don’t make enough updates to exploit their potential. They’re like a smart student who is a constant underachiever.

Perhaps you’ve seen this before. You’re in a “learn online marketing” type forum. A person publishes a post complaining that they can’t make a dime online. But in their signature line they have something along the lines of “I Made 50 Million Dollars with This” followed by their affiliate link.
