When people think of online marketing and the search engines, SEO is usually the first thing that comes to mind. SEO is used to create a site that the search engines will rank as one of the most relevant pages for a given term. The fact is, 95 percent of searchers click on a page that appears on the first page results for Google, Yahoo! or Bing. You can see that search rank is a big deal!
Glad you’re sticking with it. Build on what you know and enjoy learning. You don’t need to master everything (no one can). Focus on keywords, search volume. Choose words within reach for your existing pages. Or better yet, make new pages with longer content.
Relevant websites that attract the same target audiences as the advertiser but without competing with it are potential affiliate partners as well. Vendors or existing customers can also become recruits if doing so makes sense and does not violate any laws or regulations (such as with pyramid schemes).
Keywords are single words or a combination of words that you add to your ad campaigns, and these keywords determine when your ads will appear. Keyword-targeted advertising matches the keywords in your campaign to the search terms that shoppers use to search for products at Amazon.com. I only recommend products as an affiliate that I’m extremely very familiar with—preferably products that I’ve used before and have helped me achieve something. If I’m not confident in the product and I don’t feel it will positively help people, I will not promote it.

Typically I can convert traffic I send to Amazon from my affiliate sites around 12%. The reason why it works so well is that the moment people land on Amazon, they are automatically switched into “buyer mode”. Meaning, they know the only thing left for them to do is BUY. What that means, is all you have to do is get people to Amazon’s site, and they literally do the selling for you.

The site has over 154,000 likes on its Facebook page and it connects with the audience by sharing links to content but also asking money-saving/budgeting related questions. The highly engaged readers then visit the website, where they read content and no doubt make purchases.

Promote through forums or communities online – online forums and communities are pretty much everywhere these days and you can use these to promote affiliate links. How can you do that? First of all, search for a forum that discusses about the subject of what you are promoting. Make sure to check the community or forum guidelines well so you understand what posts are allowed and what are not. Once you find a good forum or community to promote to, become a member and be an active member. This will allow other people to trust you; again you are building that sense of trust before you promote. You can do this by interacting with other people, answering questions or offering solutions while integrating affiliate links. Over time people will trust you and will be happy to click on the links you have provided. Now you really don’t need to own a website for that, right?

Although paid search conquesting offers one of the few ways to directly target consumers who are searching for your competitors’ brands and products, a mountain of actionable insights can be gleaned from the activities your competitors have undertaken historically, as well as what they’re potentially doing to stay ahead.
Just because you make a website and add pages to it every so often doesn’t mean that you’ll appear in search results when someone searches for your products or services. You have to optimize your site to rank well, and keep up with search trends to make sure your target audience finds you before your competitors.
Google looks at more than just keyword mentions. They want to see that users are getting the information they’re looking for, and that it’s high quality and beneficial. Neither of these qualities hold true when you opt for keyword stuffing.
Fill your website with content that will be useful to the people who are interested in your niche, and place your affiliate links throughout in the most relevant places. That way when someone interested in your content clicks your link, they go to a sales page for a product that they might also be interested in, and if they buy it you get a commission!
